Comments

  1. Description Reissue of this album from the critically and commercially successful British indie singer/songwriter. Draw the Line was the eighth studio album by Gray. The first single was "Fugitive" followed by the Annie Lennox duet "Full Steam.".
  2. General CommentI had to write an in-class essay on this song and these are my notes: David Gray’s song “Nemesis” can also be read as poetry because, like poetry, it uses imagery and rhythm to convey its themes and evoke emotions. This poem/song characterizes the nature of life; it explores the dichotomies of life in that life is described.

  9. AllMusic Review by Andrew Leahey [+] After taking a four-year break from the studio, David Gray announced his return with a new backing band, new label representation, and this new album. 's Draw the Line is consistent with the rest of Gray 's catalog, proof that the songwriter's appeal rests not in those around him but in his nuanced piano ballads and warm, calloused voice.6/
