  3. Take That's "The Circus" is simply one of the best albums I've heard in recent memory. They have written all the songs themselves with the help of John Shanks, and while it's more cheery than "Beautiful World" the music is of high quality. It's a pop/rock/comtemporary mix that TT have perfected in the past and will continue to do in the future.
  4. Dec 01,  · Whether it’s as good as its predecessor is a moot point though. Too much of The Circus sounds lazy and by the numbers. It’s not helped by the fact that Mark Owen takes lead vocals on a fair few of the tracks – he may well be the nicest guy in showbusiness, but his reedy vocals soon wear thin over the course of a full album.
  5. One of the best selling UK in history and the most successful boybands ever, Take That returns with their second post-reunion release, CIRCUS. The album features the songwriting talents of Gary Barlow and includes songs such as "What is Love," "How Did It Come to This" and the hit single, "Greatest Day"/5(26).

  7. Released on 20 March , it is the third single from the album The Circus. Its B-Side is 84, the same B-Side of their preceding single "Up All Night", and is sung by Jason Orange. Mark Owen confessed to Observer Music Monthly that his wish to sing this song's bridge had not come to fruition.
  8. Take That's pride in being a pop group is at the heart of what makes The Circus such a triumph. In a musical landscape where guitar bands strive for chart success and pop acts are attempting to be.
  9. Staging a comeback far bigger than any of us could have imagined, it's now time for Take That - The Man Band to release their 2nd album since returning to their adoring fanbase looking slightly crinkly. Circus, coincidentally released on the same day as Britney's album of the same name, is it, and we're pleased to report it's pretty damn amazing/5().
